Author Biography

S. L. Cortes Vega is a short story author and aspiring novelist. This is her first short story collection. She has plans to co-author more short story collections and poetry with aspiring authors like herself in both the English and Spanish literature markets. When she’s not writing, she spends her days as an elementary school teacher. She is currently working on her Doctorate in Education and is writing her dissertation on the Perceptions of Special Education Teachers on Inclusion and Self-Contained Programs. When completed with her degree, she would like to change careers and become a professor at her local university. Eventually, she would like to publish the series that’s been hiding in the crevices of her hard drive all these many years. Until then, she is a teacher by day and writer by night.
